Relationships are a great way of recording how one person knows another person in the database. For example, an applicant may know another applicant, a contact may know another contact or an applicant may know a contact, etc.
Relationships are great for networking or just general information, for example, a relation of your top client might register with you looking for work and therefore you'd want to know about this relationship.
Relationships can be created on the Applicant or Contact records.
Relationship types can be added via List Items in the itris Management Utility (IMU).
