Compliance Overview
The compliance functionality is highly customisable and flexible in terms of the varying evidence potentially needed for each job.
Compliance items are made up of Custom Fields and References. Individual Custom Fields can have a Data Access Groups applied to them which provide restrictions so that only users with the relevant access can view or manage the data.
See the following articles for more information: Custom Field Assignment, Data | Custom Fields, User Management | Data Access Groups and References.
Once compliance is configured it will warn you at the submission stages (apart from application) if the applicant is non-compliant for the job being submitted too.
Then, depending on your Compliance settings, itris compliance warnings can be set to either Informational or Preventative.
- If set as Informational itris will just warn you if a non-compliant applicant is being placed or extended
- If set as Preventative itris will prevent the non-compliant applicant from being placed or extended
Compliance items can be added individually onto a job (which is then pulled through to any placements made against that job), you can create compliance templates and apply one or more of these to your jobs, or use Auto-Generated compliance to automatically apply compliance requirements to jobs based on Charge Type, Job Function, Industry and Business type data.
Compliance templates and Auto-Generated compliance are useful as they will save you time if you apply similar compliance regularly to jobs.
Each Job and Placement record will show the relevant applicants’ compliance status, and you can manage their compliance items from here. You can also search jobs by whether they have compliance requirements added or not.
You can view all relevant jobs/placements and related applicants for compliance in the Compliance Management area, see the Compliance Management article for more information.
