Relationships

Relationships are a great way of recording how one person knows another person in the database. For example, an applicant may know another applicant, a contact may know another contact or an applicant may know a contact, etc.

Beyond recording general useful relationship information to aid rapport, recording relationships might also be of benefit to you and your business from a business development perspective, as recording relationships could be of value in terms of networking as well as rapport building when looking to pick up jobs. For example, you might become aware of who a contact you are recruiting for, previously worked and got on with. This person could be approached as a means of trying to work with another company and their like for the contact you are currently working with, could aid your approach if you mentioned you are currently recruiting for their ex-colleague.

Relationships can be created on the Applicant or Contact records.

Relationship types can be added via the itris Management Utility (IMU), see the Data | List Items article for more information.
